welcome to our school
Welcome to the Ganton School website; our special school community is a vibrant and energetic collaboration between pupils, staff and families which embraces other community partners and seeks to improve outcomes for all those affected by learning difficulties and disabilities.
It is a place where everybody shines and, as Headteacher, I am delighted to be able to share with you information about our school, our pupils and our activities in the hope that you will celebrate, with us, the special achievements of our community members.
Ganton School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

School opening times during the COVID 19 crisis
The building will be open for pupil from 8:55am until 3:30pm as usual (although buses are arriving to take pupils home from about 3pm).
The office hours are from 8am until 3:30pm.
Please be advised that there is only a skeleton staff in school at all times during this COVID 19 crisis. Therefore, not all calls may be answered straightaway and it may not be possible for you to speak with certain members of staff if they are not in school that day.
Please be patient with us and we will do our best to resolve any issues you may have and support you as best we can.
8:00pm every Thursday ...
'Clap for Carers' is now a weekly event to show our continued appreciation for all our heroic NHS workers as well as all those 'Key Workers'. These staff, either through frontline action or supporting, delivering, cleaning and caring for us all, continue to put themselves at risk to minimise the terrible impact of this deadly disease. So, at 8pm, please 'Clap for Our Carers' in a mass display of support and solidarity to those who are working tirelessly throughout this ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and we at Ganton School would urge you all to do so once again.
Many thanks, take care and stay safe.
