Friends of Ganton School (FROGS) is the group of parents, carers, staff and other stakeholders who plan fundraising and social events and activities for the benefit of members of the school community.
This registered charity contributes significantly to the ‘family feeling’ of the school and embraces a positive outlook for those families finding themselves involved with disability for the first time.
There is a formal committee with Tony Hatley currently Chairman and an AGM is held each autumn term.
A yearly plan of events and activities including family trips, speakers, social networking and workshops is planned and delivered and FROGS members are visible during events such as the Summer Fayre, sports days and the like.
Recently a sub-group of FROGS has supported the school in its bid to gain the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA).
